The CX4 Solution will enable your company and its supply partners to create an environment to collaborate, negotiate, and manage projects by leveraging design and engineering documentation into the strategic sourcing process. All required sourcing documentation is compressed and compiled into a secure neutral format that is accessible to selected internal users and external supply partners during the sourcing process. The neutral format allows visibility to files (including sophisticated 3D solid model designs) simply by granting access. Relevant documentation is also attached and aligned with the process steps and is easily viewed in the platform at the point where it is most applicable to the process, project or program.

Once savings have been identified through online quoting or online negotiation and awards have been made, the implementation functionality of the CX4 solution enables users to efficiently drive realized cost savings through their internal implementation processes. Critical implementation processes and milestones such as; Part Approvals, First Article Inspection, and tasks which require collection of specific customer required forms, can all be efficiently executed utilizing the CX4 Solution.

Below is a brief overview of some of the major feature sets in the base platform.

• Project Management – Co-eXprise technology provides a powerful online project management capability with immediate access to the critical team members, suppliers, documents, process steps, critical tasks and overall status associated with each project.

• Collaboration – Secure online collaboration is central to the CX4 platform. Collaborative capabilities include: markup, highlights, discussions and measurements which are delivered thorugh standard e-mail or instant messaging. Each collaboration is captured to maintain a permanent record of the discussion threads for future reference and can be initiated by either buyer or supplier on any document at any point in the process.

• Organizational Control and Compliance – Using Co-eXprise technology, your company can setup their own user groups and roles, with access to content based on organizational policy. New employees can easily be added and expirations of existing authorizations are continually monitored and restrictions applied. Project, data, and document access is controlled by the organization’s administrator who can also set up custom workflows to align with existing work processes.

• Secure File Upload and Encryption – File upload utilizing Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). This cryptography scheme is a symmetric block cipher that encrypts and decrypts 128-bit, 256-bit or 512-bit blocks of data. Encryption provides the reliable means to prevent access to protected content by unauthorized persons.

• File Conversion for Secure Viewing – Upon file upload, conversion of over 1500 file formats into a single neutral file format called Secure Collaboration Format.

• Document Level Protection – Co-eXprise provides protection at the document level, maintaining encryption regardless of where it is located, who or where it is sent to, or how it is used. Protected files can only be accessed by authorized users, effectively preventing unauthorized release of protected data.

• Internal Team Member Management – Management of Team Member access through the use of permission levels provided through the designated administrator. Permission levels and their related access expirations are managed so only currently authorized and certified internal team members and supply partners have access to information.

• Supply Partner Management & Database – The administrative function enables the administrator to set up supply partners in your unique database. A comprehensive set of supply partner management capabilities exists in the base CX4 solution with the ability to customize for your unique supplier management needs.

• Auditing and Reporting – Co-eXprise technology provides a comprehensive level of auditing capabilities and custom reporting. Administrators have access to a detailed level of analyses across key information such as specific user actions, supplier access, task level activities, and unauthorized access attempts.
